itself, can be it’s own addiction. Fear of judgement or being harshly judged can lead to low self esteem, which can then contribute to addiction. Trials are coming for all of us and so is pain.. it’s a part of life. If we don’t know how to cope and feel we have low value and we aren’t “worth it”.. why seek help? Why stop? What’s the point? Such a touching story! And I was heart-pricked with so much truth from you both. Addiction can ravage through anyone’s life. It doesn’t discriminate or care who you are. I also grew up in that same small town and I remember the judgmental culture that I find to be so silly now.
